Vnstat: Not enough data available yet

Kept getting this dreaded error on a new install:

etho: Not enough data available yet

The fix for me was to update the vnstat databases manually, issued the following command:

vnstat -u

 

centoscentos 7no updatingnot enough data availablevnstatwon't update
