Change Timezone – CentOS

All the timezone information files are located under /usr/share/zoneinfo. Locate the timezone you want to enable. Edit the following statement with the path to enable the required timezone

cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/<CONTINENT>/<CITY> /etc/localtime

It’ll ask you whether you want to overwrite the existing file, choose yes and your done.
